If you are looking for a reel that can handle every situation, looks fantastic when paired with any rod and is as smooth as butter, then the Sonik Xtractor Reels are well worth a look. Boasting an incredible 6+1 ball bearings, reeling in has never been more enjoyable whether it is under load or you are retrieving a rig from long distance. 

The matt black finish has been treated to a matching matt black aluminium handle and rubber grip. This ensures that you will be in direct control at all times, with no fear of any accidental slippages whilst fighting your target fish. As a mini big pit, the Xtractor Reels work beautifully in conjunction with several lengths and test curves of rod. It does however mean that this is not a dedicated long range tool for casting, but it can certainly hold its own on small to medium sized carp waters, but does not mean that this reel is not worthy of fishing for big carp, because it can absolutely take control of a sticky situation when needed. 

The wormshaft gear system is largely responsible for the smooth operation of the Xtractor Reels, while the Quick Torque front drag is responsible controlling a fight. Micro adjustments can be made with ease when required, and the high strength graphite body and rotor are of a highly durable construction. Sonik has also ensured that line that slips under the spool has been eliminated through the installation of a floating rotor line guard. 

The extensive feature list doesn’t end there either, as a twin set of spring-loaded line clips have been installed on to spools for ultra-precise placement of hook baits. The Sonik Xtractor Reels are available in two different sizes, the 5000 or 6000 models. The smaller of the two weighs just 525g, whilst the largest weighs 562g. Line capacity also differs, where it is possible to load a total of 430m of 0.30mm main line, compared to that of 560m of the same thickness.
