Bait

As well as producing baits that are effective and which undoubtedly catch carp, Marukyu also has a 100 per cent environmentally friendly policy, by which I mean all of its baits are fish-friendly and environmentally safe.
A classic example is this sweetcorn, which you may mistake for plastic imitation hook baits but which is, in fact, made of 100 per cent natural ingredients. It’s packed full of attractors and resembles real corn superbly. It’s also really easy to use and comes complete with a small amount of liquid attractor in the sealed pouch.

Importantly, it will eventually break down in the water in the event of you losing your rig, so you can be sure that it is absolutely safe for the carp. Don’t worry, it takes a fair while, so you are safe to leave your baited rig out for a few days if that’s your thing. It’s also reusable provided it’s replaced in the liquid. I am not going to get into the debate about the safety of imitation baits, save to say that with this Marukyu corn there is no debate whatsoever. It’s effective and it’s 100 per cent safe.
