The original Supa Brolly was launched to critical acclaim and was followed soon afterwards by the ‘system’ that included zip-in front with mozzie and standard options with doors and windows and suchlike. Not able to get hold of the simple brolly due to its popularity, I bought a system when I discovered that Chapman’s Angling Centre was one of only a few shops that actually had a delivery. I didn’t particularly want the infill and certainly not the mozzie front, but it was either this or miss out altogether. So, out came the credit card and the next day the Supa Brolly system duly arrived.

We first received these some time ago and gave them a preview from the information provided. However, when the Delkim boys came into the office for some filming more recently, and explained exactly how the Smart Clips work, we all clamoured to get a set for ourselves. I’ve since used them on a few occasions and can honestly say that I wouldn’t use another line clip. Ideally suited to work in conjunction with Delkim’s complete indication system, they also work perfectly with any other bobbins and fit on any carp rod.
I’ve long been a fan of the PJPU range of pop-ups and use them extensively in my fishing. When these two flavours landed on my desk I immediately thought: “Winter winners”. They’re both from PJPU’s classic range of flavour combinations and each smells absolutely fantastic. The Tutti Frutti is an absolute classic and is available in a range of sizes in orange, yellow, off-white and magenta.
