While particles might not necessarily feature in the plans of many of us, hemp is the exception and is a stunning cold-water attractor and feed. It’s also perfect for maintaining the carp’s attention over a period of time.

Bait-Tech’s Super Seed is up with the very best prepared hemp I’ve used and it certainly takes away the stress of preparing it myself, albeit that does have certain advantages in some ways.

All of the grains are of a good size and the vast majority are perfectly split. What’s more, there are no bits of plant stalks or ‘dust’ bulking out the bag.

I particularly like the fact that this stuff is completely preservative free – you wouldn’t catch me using the preserved ‘PVA friendly’ stuff; the fresher the better in my opinion. Oh yeah, Super Seed also won Best Particle in our tackle awards, and I for one am not at all surprised. (MC)
