Terminal Tackle

I’ve reviewed these bags many times over the years and felt compelled to do so again in this issue, given our Buyer’s Guide feature on solid bags. They remain the most consistent bags that I’ve used for my fishing over a prolonged period.
I can’t remember the last time I had a seam break on me and, given that I tie my bags as tightly as I possibly can, this is a huge indictment. While there are several sizes available I only really use the size 5s because they suit my style of fishing. I can’t imagine ever wanting to tie bags any bigger than this and at this size they also cast really well.

Breakdown times are similar to most bags, which I guess makes sense, and they tend not to leave too much residue afterwards. To be fair, I’m not convinced that this is necessarily a problem anyway, but I suppose it can give some anglers a little more confidence. Finally, with 40 bags in each pack I reckon they’re pretty decent value for money too.
