Tackle Box’s Lee Jackson says: Craig Outram is one of our many long-term customers and is no stranger to the Darenth Valley. He founded A2 Baits in 2011 and at first rolled bait for himself and his friends. Eventually, and with the popularity of his bait growing, he took the plunge and decided to make bait full time. His small range caught from the off and soon had a strong local following, with impressive catches being made on waters both at home and abroad.

Five years on, and with the range growing to include frozen boilies, pop-ups, 70/30 wafters, dips, humbugs and pellets, the A2 brand has gone from strength to strength and continues to grow.

All baits in the range work all year round and consist of a unique blend of bird foods/nuts and milk proteins, all ingredients having been sourced individually and mixed at the factory. CT has a lovely creamy toffee smell and creamy colour, and before even casting it into the water you instantly ‘know’ that it will catch fish. Tutti Fruity Food Source has a distinctive bubblegum smell and red/orange colour and has proven very successful this winter on busy day-ticket waters, club waters and syndicate waters alike. If in doubt get on the A2 route, you won’t go far wrong.
