Terry Dempsey hosts book signing slideshow!Taska backed ace Terry Dempsey is a figure not usually seen in the public eye- but has agreed to give a presentation and slideshow following the release of his book, 'The Urban Myth. 'The presentation will take place at St Mary's Church Hall, opposite Eric's Angling Centre on Selby Road, Leeds on Saturday 17th November. The entry fee will be £5, with all proceeds going to Martin House Childrens Hospice in Boston Spa. There is also an on site bar, and a raffle will be hosted with some top tackle prizes for anglers to win! Erics Angling will also be extending their opening hours to 8pm to give anglers the chance to grab a bargain before attending the show.

Fully scaled beauty rewards patient angler. Roy Akay enjoyed a session to remember at Anglers Paradise last week, bagging a stunning 26lb 8oz Fully Scaled Mirror from the Main Lake. After banking plenty of smaller fish in the early part of the week, Roy from Minehead started fishing the Main Lake around lunch time and didn’t catch until 5pm. After a positive take, the fish came in quite easily but as it neared the net Roy realised that it was a much bigger fish than others he had caught.
