Austrian rod banks massive mirror!
Check out this incredible carp from Austrian angler Andreas Karrer, that proves that big can certainly be beautiful! Weighing in at 30.6kg (67lb) this big mirror was the result of many months hard work for Andreas, and made many blank sessions worthwhile.

He explained: "I have been after this special fish for over two years, and am delighted to catch her at her first time over 30kg. At midnight she took my Single Plum/Carproice 15mm Pop Up from Nutrabaits, which was fished over a large bed of sweetcorn.

The fight, with the help of a boat in the middle of deep fog was not really spectacular, but when the fish topped on the surface I was left speechless! My friend Karl did a good job with the landing net and she slipped safely into it. When I came to take the hook out, the Arma Point SSC hook in a size 4 had a firm hold, and once again proved how good it is. I am over the moon!”
