Esp New Terminal Tackle

At the forefront of end-tackle design for many years, ESP continues to produce a wide range of extremely usable products, many of which offer a solution to the everyday problems faced by carp anglers.

The most recent launch of new items includes the Chod Rig Sleeves, available in Camo Brown, Choddy Silt and Weedy Green, in packs of six. These are designed to keep your chod rig clear of the lead at the bottom of the leader when playing a carp. The inherent problem with a chod rig is that, without something above the lead, the rig slides right down the leader, potentially causing lost fish. By adding one of these sleeves this is eliminated (provided you are not using overly long chod rigs). The make-up of the sleeves also allows some flexibility, thus offering an element of shock resistance, again helping you to successfully land more carp. Under extreme pressure they will collapse, thereby eradicating hook-pulls from lunging carp.

Second up is the brand-new Tungsten Putty, housed in convenient little screw-top tubs and available in the same three colour options. With the optimum blend of adhesion and density, this stuff is extremely user-friendly and sticks to swivels and suchlike with consummate ease. It also grips well, especially once it cools following application, so there is no fear of it parting from your rig. Finally, ESP has also produced a new range of its excellent readymade leadcore leaders, this time incorporating the new Chod Rig Sleeves. These make chod fishing extremely simple and hassle-free and you can use them safe in the knowledge that they are tied expertly using ESP’s very best components. They’re again available in three colours and in 1m and 1.5m lengths, with three in each pack.
