33-2-0 is new Cherry Lakes best.
David Mott has taken the new Cherry Lakes record carp with a 33lb 2oz carp, just five days after Wayne Chambers set a new lake best with a 32lb fish.

One of Cherry's regular guests, David enjoyed a fantastic session fishing from Grebe Lodge at the complex. Benefitting from being the only angler on the lake last weekend, David caught by baiting heavily with Cherry Lake Essential Spice boilies and pellet.

He put his success down to building up several key areas in his swim,so when the fish turned on he was able to bank three good fish very quickly!

His best three fish included a 27lb 8oz mirror, and  two 30lb fish. The biggest (pictured) went 33lb 2oz, and the other weighed 31lb 6oz. He also caught seven other carp including one further twenty.
