Vass 175 Khaki Edition Winter Suit

The original versions of Vass’ smock and salopettes have been hugely popular in the khaki colour and it is probably the most waterproof suit of its kind that we have seen.

Responding to huge public demand, Vass has now introduced the same suit but with a quilted lining to add insulation to the protection.
I’m referring to this as a suit because it is of course exactly that, but each garment is sold separately, so if you only want the jacket or the salopettes then you can. The smock is a pullover design and boasts a front ‘kangaroo-style’ pocket, elasticated cuffs, roll-out hood and high collar to keep out the worst that the elements can throw at you.

Meanwhile, the salopettes are similarly not short on features, especially the adjustable bottoms to make getting them on and off a doddle, even when wearing boots. Inside the lower section of the legs is a waterproof segment to stop that annoying dampness rising up your leg in wet conditions and when traipsing through long sodden grass. The knees are reinforced and are designed to easily drain any water.

As you’d expect, the front and rear sit high on the body ensuring there is no draught coming through, even when bent over. (MC)
