Oxford complex closed ‘as a precautionary measure. ’Richworth Fishery near Oxford has closed its gate to anglers, after an influx of water has caused lake levels to rise. Fortunately, it is thought that the fish are all safe, even if the extra rainwater that has been forecast arrives later in the week. Fishery manager, Len Gurd explained: “Due to the risk associated with the floods that many areas are currently experiencing, we have taken the precaution of closing the whole complex, including the Guys Syndicate.
