Becks: Mick Cooper caught a 14lb common on a Cell flouro pop-up. Beau Beasley caught four carp to 18lb on Cell boilies. Dick Vale caught nine carp to 11lb 5oz off the surface on dog biscuit. Stuart Minney caught an 8lb bream and 12lb carp on 14mm strawberry boilies. Carl Kirkham caught a 15lb mirror and 3lb tench on spicey tuna boilies.

Carp: Barry Kersey caught four carp to 21lb on squid boilies. William Davidson caught nine carp to 17lb on boilies. Vijay Badham caught four carp to 15lb on Old Ghost sausage. Joe caught four carp to 24lb on cell topped with corn. Paul Scott caught 10 carp to 21lb on homemade boilies.

Winters: David Baker caught commons of 25lb 2oz and 14lb on Mainline baits Hybrid boilies. Daniel Gullifer caught a common of 26lb 8oz and a 28lb linear mirror. Richard Cooke caught commons of 27lb, 15lb and 13lb on Mainline Hybrid boilies. Lance Bantic caught commons of 21lb 5oz and 12lb on CC Moore’s northern specials. Aston Stanbridge caught a 14lb common on a boilie.

Match canal: The last open match for May was fished on Saturday, the result was – 1st Bob Wiffen 43lb 6oz, 2nd Del Waite 33lb 4oz and 3rd Alek Boltryk 21lb10oz. Darren James caught six carp to 8lb on float-fished luncheon meat.

Blunham: John Hurley caught four carp to 6lb on paste and meat. Phil Green caught two commons of 12lb and 10lb on sweetcorn.
