Leeds-based tackle shop Eric's Angling are holding a brand-new contest that carries the top match prize in specimen angling in the UK. The Eric's Angling Championship will carry large runner-up prizes of £6,000 for second place and a third prize pot for £2,500. In addition to this awesome prize bundle each qualifying pair from the 13 rounds of qualifiers will also receive a prize for competing. 

This match is open for any pair to enter and promises to be an epic competition. Thirteen venues all across the country will play host to the qualifiers to allow a maximum cross section of anglers from all over the UK. It costs £375 for a pair to enter. The final will be held in August and will see 12 pairs competing for the £30,000 cash prize.
