New Rods Bank Immaculate!

39lb 14oz monster for Greys Manager!

Greys and Chub’s academy manager Ed Betteridge has been in big fish action, banking the big common known as ‘The Immaculate’ from a 20 acre Nene Valley Syndicate water. The fish fell 2oz short of the 40lb mark on the scales and was landed using the new Greys Aircurve rods in 13ft 3.5lb TC.

Ed commented, “The bite was a strange one as the indicator climbed a couple of inches, stopped and then went slowly again. I tightened into the fish and wasn’t sure at first whether it had gone into weed, or if it was a big fish. Pretty quickly though I knew it was a bigger fish, as it shook its head and deliberately made its way up the lake.”

“I’ve been testing The Aircurve rods for the last 12 months. They incorporate Greys new Toreon nano composite technology, and are simply the best big pit rods I have ever used. They can hit unbelievable distances, but critically also retain a very good fish playing action for close in work.”

The Greys Aircurve rods will be available from spring 2013.
