Nash Titan As Brolly

The word Titan has always been synonymous with super-strong bivvies from Nash.

The unique spreader-block system and the resulting angle of the poles provide ultimate rigidity and impressive internal space. What’s more, the aerodynamic shape, consistent throughout the range, helps ensure that they will never be uprooted.
An evolution of the original Titan bivvy, this new all-season brolly version has a slightly smaller footprint, in mind of it being usable in even the smallest of swims. The little decrease in external size also makes it even stronger than its predecessors. There are even reports of people standing on top of them.
Once up, it’s as solid as a rock and will stand up to whatever Mother Nature can throw at it.
Considering it’s essentially a downsized version of the Titan bivvy, the interior space is ample – much more than we expected. Also, in light of its unrivalled strength and aerodynamic profile, we felt that the product would be better suited to the name Titan Compact, because the word brolly simply doesn’t do it justice. There are no spines inside; simply the clever external spreader block. This makes the headroom comfortable if you want to sit up and watch the water while you are inside.
The external green webbing that the poles thread through not only add tension but also look great. The exterior trim and detailing is all neat and tidy too and makes the overall aesthetics spot-on.
The door options are a new addition; the original model released last year was completely open fronted. Combined with the optional overwrap, this is a shelter for all conditions, hence the ‘All Season’ tag to the name. It can be fully open fronted or mozzie panelled during the summer months, and the full zip-down door and winter skin will keep it cosy during winter.
It’s not the lightest shelter at 10kg all in, but the strongest things usually have a degree of weight to them.
A big plus is the size that it packs down to. Considering it has pretty advanced metal mechanics, it folds down into a compact unit. The carry bag is also oversized, which makes it a doddle to pack away.
The Titan is supplied with adjustable storm poles, a full clip-on and Velcro heavy-duty groundsheet, and pegs.
