Bite Alarms & Indicators

I’ve long been a user of Muddy Waters gear and must declare at this point that I am a massive fan.

Muddy’s were the first indicators that I saw featuring a clip specifically designed to aid slack-line fishing. They work perfectly well in all circumstances, but Muddy’s Kipper Clip was designed to actually grip the line and show the tiniest movement in the line, no matter how slack. Many companies have copied these but they’re yet to be improved on, in my opinion. They also look really ‘carpy’, and are used by numerous top carp anglers.

The variety of head sizes and weights available is impressive and there are plenty of the additional accessories that you might need. I am a bit of a bobbin addict, so have built up quite a collection of this stuff over the last few years. I would also add that the isotopes that Muddy produces are easily the brightest I have ever used.
Sadly, the company’s website doesn’t begin to do the products justice. You need to go into a stockist to have a proper look. You won’t be disappointed!
