Pete says: After substituting my old bobbins I’m glad that I have because the Bugs do exactly what I want them to do. I was expecting them to be slightly larger than my preferred size but it turns out that they’re perfect, and they hang just right with the weight of my 17lb fluorocarbon main line. If I want to fish tight lines they do the job really well, simply using the gap in the lower part of the line clip so that the line runs freely. For slack lining the upper part of the line clip holds the line in place for super-sensitive indication. I like the looks too, they are subtle and look really nice at night with the tiny isotopes in. Overall these are very versatile indicators that I’m happy to use for most of my fishing.
