We first came across the Bloxx system last year and were impressed with the speed with which it can be erected, literally one of the quickest around in our experience.
The system revolves around a central block with the ribs leading from it. This opens to allow the ribs to splay (it’s simple and the poles never have to be manoeuvred to open them up). The front two poles are then secured under tension and that’s it.
Okay, put the price tag to one side for a moment and focus your attentions on the word breathable.
That’s right, these superb waders are as waterproof as you’d expect, but are genuinely breathable, unlike any other booted waders I have ever used.
To get this sort of performance you’d usually have to buy a socked wader from one of the top game fishing companies, which then require a further investment in wading boots, which are really not at all convenient for carp anglers.
Even after all of that, I doubt you’d find a set to combine that performance with the hard-wearing, robust build of the 305s.
Unlocking another dimension in bait attraction, this highly versatile liquid can be added to boilies, pop-ups, pellets, PVA bags, spod mixes and more; it really is only limited by your imagination.
The sticky nature of the bait means it can be applied before you cast out, so you don’t have to prep your bait days or hours before to boost its attraction.
Simply unscrew the lid and you can apply a few drops to your chosen hook bait in an instant. Creating a highly visual cloud of attraction, the Lava acts as a feed-enhancing catalyst that can switch the carp into a feeding frenzy.
It’s clear to see the rise in popularity for Krill-based products that harness the natural attraction and high protein levels that these tiny crustaceans offer.
It boasts several nutritional benefits, including omega-3, amino acids and astaxanthin – a natural anti-oxidant that is an ingredient that should not to be overlooked.
Although hard to harness these beneficial elements, the dedicated team at CC Moore has done all the hard work for you.
Introducing the new and very exciting Krill Micromass, you can immediately unlock the potential and boost the attraction of your baiting strategy.

This is a purpose-built solution for all those fiddly rigs that don’t currently have a home; yes we’re talking long zig and curved chod rigs.
Supplied with six discs – two of each size of large, medium and small – as well as 18 pins to ensure your rigs stay in place in perfect condition.
The largest of the three discs is ideal for use with zig rigs, with a measured diameter of six inches, so two wraps around and that’s a foot.
The smaller of the discs, which suits chod rigs, can also be used to help you steam the perfect curve time and time again.
Being able to manoeuvre your baits into inaccessible places can sometimes be the difference between a bite and a blank and, in this 12m pole, Cygnet has come up with the perfect way to do so.
Obviously it only works at short range (up to 12 metres) but for poking bait and rigs under marginal bushes or even discreetly doing the same to a canal far bank, this is ideal.
The pole is similar to one that would be used by the match angling fraternity, but it features a sturdy thread at the tip end, to which the spoon section screws on. This large spoon has been designed with a flat base in the bottom part of the ‘bowl’, making it a lot steadier when shipping out.
Echo Pools in France has been producing some whoppers in the last few weeks, with 'Colin' being caught over the bank holiday and on Wednesday, Lawrence (pictured below) banked the 52lb 8oz Silver Common to add to his already impressive catch list.
Timmy Argent has been on them again over in France this morning adding to his already impressive tally. He can now add 'Wendy' to his photo album and at a very impressive 58lb 10oz's we wonder if he has had his quota for this visit. Not a gambling man but I wouldn't bet against it.
Warren Plant has just caught the carp of his lifetime when he landed 'Colin' a common at Echo Pools in France. Here he tells you in his own words about that special moment that will live with him forever. From all of us at Total Carp, well done!
Anybody who knows their carp, knows the name of Colin the Common and knows he resides in Echo Pool, owned and managed by Andy and Tasha Walker who made our stay at Echo a special one. The two anglers for the week were myself and my good friend and carp angler, Jon Philips, who is the main person I owe this capture to.
