Lee Jackson’s verdict: An instant bait with an extensive range available. 4/5 Tackle Box’s Lee Jackson says: Craig Outram is one of our many long-term customers and is no stranger to the Darenth Valley. He founded A2 Baits in 2011 and at first rolled bait for himself and his friends. Eventually, and with the popularity of his bait growing, he took the plunge and decided to make bait full time.

Marc Coulson’s verdict. . . Upgrade your trusty Tournaments brilliantly! I’ve had Daiwa Tournament reels for years and ‘suffered’ the traditional front-drag system where going from locked up to clutch took a seemingly endless number of turns.

When 5kg of freezer bait arrived in the office, it wasn’t long before the receptionist had sent me a barrage of e-mails asking me to remove the ‘stinky bait’. As you can imagine, I eagerly wanted to see what the culprit was. Having experienced the pulling power of the shelf-life variety, I was impressed to see the quality of the bait and the receptionist was right, a rich powerful fishy aroma just engulfs you as soon as you open the bag. Utilising a low-temperature fishmeal, this bait screams big carp.

There are certain items that all carp anglers need, and some form of luggage is certainly one of them. Whether you go down the local commercial for a few hours or regularly spend longer durations on the bank you need a means of getting your kit to the venue. Although it may look goliath at first, the Organiser Carryall can be broken in two, meaning you can leave the irrelevant gear in the car or even at home. With two large compartments complete with clear lids for convenience, the carryall can hold a large volume of tackle, which will remain protected thanks to the soft JRC lining and strategically placed padding.

Dan Murrell’s verdict:Outstanding value-for-money waders. 4/5 I love a pair of waders, and have tried most, so was interested when these turned up. First impressions were of tough waders, which immediately appealed because I’m known as really putting stuff through its paces. I was amazed to find that they cost less than 40 quid! The material is 680g Plavitex, which once I’d put them on felt easy enough to move in but also extremely robust and, obviously, supremely waterproof.
