In my summer holidays I had 6 weeks off so I decided I should do something special before I needed to start working really hard for my GCSE’s. I thought I should have a quick look around at a few day tickets watch a few videos and see where looks good! After another watch of the Shimano DVD where they went to Holme Fen and a Fox video there I thought it looks good then I looked at the last weeks report and there were, 1x50, 3x 40's and 3x30's out. My barrow of choice, this is packed with great features and additional extras. I’ll keep to the facts for now because I’m going to pen a Used & Abused review in a forthcoming issue, but take it from me, it’s a cracking bit of kit. Pockets either side of the wheel, a front pannier and a central lower compartment make for easy weight distribution and allow for all sorts of smaller items to be safely stowed without them falling off the barrow. The main central compartment will perfectly house Avid’s Transit 2 carryall, which is a nice touch, but other compact carryalls will also go in there.

If you want out-and-out comfort from your bedchair, without worrying about bulk or weight, then this is will be right up your street. Our web and social media manager, Simon Calvert, has been using this one for a couple of months and absolutely raves about it. The super-thick mattress offers a level of comfort that’s hard to beat and the large dimensions, especially in the Super-King version, make it like a home from home. There’s a slight price to pay, and that is in the bulk of the bed, but the fact that most anglers these days use a barrow of some form or other makes this near irrelevant.
