One of the biggest carp shows of the year is nearly here - are you going to be there?

One of the biggest events in carping is taking place this weekend, as the Brentwood Carp Show opens its door for a two-day carping extravaganza.

Promising to be the biggest year in the events history, the 2012 show held in Essex has a bigger marquee to accommodate event more people and attractions.

Over the weekend visitors will be able to take in a host of top firms, including Nash Tackle, Hardy Greys, Korda, Gardner Tackle, Aqua, Freespirit and loads more besides. Holiday companies, syndicates, bait companies and lots more besides will also be on hand to get info and advice from.

As usual there will also be a number of talks from big names in the sport, plus tackle demos, book signings, casting tuition and casting arena, plus a bar and restraint to keep you going throughout the day.

Of course you’ll find your favourite carp magazine right in the middle of the action too, with Total Carp having its own stand – so don’t forget to come and say hello.

The show doors open at 9am on both days, closing at 5pm on the Saturday and 4pm on the Sunday. See you there.
