Luggage

I wrote about this rucksack a month or two after first receiving it and I talked about my never-ending search for the perfect bag.
I’d tried loads of carryalls and rucksacks and none had really stayed in my possession, with the exception of an original Trakker Armo many moons ago. I still own that, but it’s collecting dust in my loft because it became too big once I stopped taking so much stuff fishing with me!

Now, having used this one for well over a year (albeit not exactly my busiest year in fishing terms) I absolutely love it. The compact nature removes the temptation for me to take more than I need, yet what I do take fits comfortably inside the two separate compartments and outer pockets.

There’s a place for everything, including all the essentials, banksticks and alarms and the reinforced base keeps it all in shape and rigid. Two handles, one at each end, make lifting it on and off the barrow easy (I don’t use the shoulder straps and even considered cutting them off).

Overall, it’s pretty much the perfect bag for me and my style of fishing; predominantly days only and not taking the kitchen sink!
