The Burgess Park Angling Club cares for the lake and as you walk around the water there are dedicated fishing swims that support a thriving fishing scene, with various types of fish including carp, tench, bream and silver species!

There is a member's lake and a day-ticket lake, and if the day-ticket lake is overly busy there is the option to fit you in on the member’s lake.

There is a small shop that sells tea, coffee, cold drinks and a small variety of snacks, and also stocks bait, an array of terminal tackle, clothing and much more to come. Current stock levels are very good with carp to 37lb.
