Steve Collett of Harris Sports Mail, who was visiting the show commented: "I always look forward to Tackle & Guns, and this year it is as good as ever.  After what has been a tough year for many, it is great to see that the tackle trade is so buoyant. I have also been extremely impressed by the level of innovation on display in terms of products.”

Show organiser, and DHP Managing Director Sean O'Driscoll added: "I am heartened by the number of retailers that have visited, and delighted by the efforts of the exhibitors.  It is great to see so many new products, and the investment that companies have put into their stands.

Walking around, you would not believe that  it has been such a hard year in the trade. I am extremely optimistic for 2013."
