Marc Coulson’s verdict... Great for the job and very well priced. 5/5

As you can probably tell from the picture, I’ve used this stuff for absolutely ages and, although it’s obviously discoloured in that time, it remains as strong and reliable as when I first loaded it up. That’s the beauty of braid over mono; it doesn’t deteriorate anything like a monofilament line would over time.

Although many companies now do similar, TF Gear was the first that I remember introducing a bright coloured braid for spod and marker work and it definitely makes a difference on the marker reel, which I use mine on. Being able to see the line clearly when plumbing is a godsend, especially when letting line off the spool and being able to instantly tell if the float is creeping up through the water.

Finally, a huge influence on any buying decision is price, and this stuff is priced extremely well for a bulk spool. (MC)
