Rebirth Of A Star!

The return of Star-Flite...

The Star-Flite brand of rod pod was originally developed by the accomplished engineer Brian Ellis back in 2001 and, as a result of some success with it, Brian went on to design and manufacture a limited number of what are now known as the Star-Flite S3 banksticks and buzz bars. There was nothing in the market at that time that could rival the brilliant design of this kit, but Brian ceased supply of the pod, banksticks and buzz bars about 10 years ago.
However, in 2009, Martin Roe secured all IP rights to the banksticks and buzz bars, then in 2012 he purchased the Star-Flite brand, and in January 2014 all the original surplus stock of buzz bars and sticks and tooling, thus securing the whole brand in its entirety.

What is currently available?

Understanding the desires of today’s carp anglers, Martin has developed the new range of ultra-tight Dinky S3 buzz bars. These are all two-rod fixed in 4.5in, 5.5in and 6.5in sizes making them some of the smallest on the market.

The S3 banksticks also come in three adjustable lengths – 12 to 19 inches, 16 to 28 inches and 20 to 35 inches – with the latter chosen to help not only stillwater carp anglers but also river anglers who want really reliable strong equipment when targeting big carp bream and barbel.
The superior Trent-LoQ clamping mechanism is exclusive to Star-Flite and enables a massive clamping force on the adjustable rod even when your hands are cold and wet, or even when wearing gloves in the depths of winter.

New products…
The MKII Trent Launcher pod is currently undergoing final tests and developments and will be available over the next few months, together with ‘Planet bobbins’ – solid, stainless-steel hand polished to a mirror finish, with coloured anodised aluminium versions in time.

On the list for development are snag ears, stabilisers, distance sticks and a goal-post style Tetrad pod.

Products can be purchased direct from www.Star-Flite.co.uk or from Soar Tackle, Kegworth and Fantackle-tastic, Lincoln.
