Anglers in the North who fancy themselves on the match-carp scene have the chance to showcase their talents and win some big money as the Northern Carp Cup dates and venues have been confirmed.


The prize fund is increasing daily, but so far the final, at Wyreside’s Sunnyside 2 Lake on October 26th-28th, will see a first prize of £1,500 cash plus £500 of DNA Baits and PB Products. Second place wins £800 (plus£200) with third taking away £400 (£100).


It’s a pairs event and costs £250 per team to enter, with a deposit of £80 securing entry into the event, and the balance of £170 due 28 days before the qualifier. These qualifiers are listed below. More details of the event and how to enter can be found at www.northerncarpcup.co.uk
