Additional Info:  Arriving at Norton Disney for a short overnight session before working at the venue on shoot the next day, I decided to jump onto Turners lake after a quick chat with the baliff. After dropping in behind an angler who was unsuccessful the night before, I began mapping out the swim infront of me with the marker rod, initially noticing a large gravel section at around 20/21 wraps, and presuming this was a “likely” fished area by many anglers I decided to push out to 24 wraps where I found a clay like substrate off the back of this gravel section. With the lake feeling fairly featureless and with the warm winds incoming I decided to put out a bit of bait to start, 15 spombs of whole and crumbed boilie coated in liquid to draw the fish in and two hinges over the top it didn’t take lake before the rods were away with a double take resulting in two scaley upper double mirrors. Topping the bait back up before last light I managed another small stocky in the early hours before a lovely low 20lb common graced the net on first Light.
