Additional Info: Having arrived for a family staying down in the heart of the cotswold water park, I was greeted by a stunning lake on the complex known as isis lake. What was held in here is still a mystery really but from speaking to 1 or 2 regular guests there was ALOT of good fish with an avg size of 24lb. Having settled in with the family I began to explore the lake for myself, looking and watching for any signs of carp. With nothing much happening I opted for a swim that commanded alot of water and went for a late winter tactic I had alot of confidence in…. The zig. Having plumbed the depth of the area to be around 12 ft I started with a 10ft zig and an 8ft, within only 90 minutes of casting the right hand rod melted into life resulting in this stunning mid 20 plated mirror which was only the start of what was to follow that week….
