Top tackle shop starts sale early!Cheshire based tackle giants, Stapeley Angling Centre have announced a pre Christmas bargain bonanza - starting on Saturday. Following a recent move in location, the store has decided to celebrate by offering a month long sale. Store manager, Neil Stockton explained: "Normally our Christmas sale starts in December, but due to our new location this year we have decided to run it for a month starting on Sat 23rd November until Monday 23rd December. All items are reduced as normal with ex display items up to half price and great deals on any larger items like bivvies, rods, reels and luggage.

Hinder's Steve Clarke on a memorable week in France!Steve Clarke of Hinders Tackle in Swindon has recently returned from a very memorable trip to France, which saw him and his friends bank fish to a massive 65lb!He explained: "Having never fished anywhere other then the UK for carp myself and a few mates decided it was about time to venture out and what better place then France. We booked ourselves a six night session on one of the more popular venues in hope of a few chunks. To be honest I'd have never of guessed just how much time and effort goes into booking a trip, and the cost for that matter, but with bait/tackle and everything finally sorted we loaded up and headed off late Friday afternoon. We endured a long but relatively smooth drive and arrived in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Korda ace beats his personal best three times in same session!Korda backed rod, Jonathan Brown has enjoyed a very productive session on Lake Pelagicavo over in Bosnia & Herzegovina, where he’s been living for the past 14 years, working for NATO. He explained: “Everyone we spoke to commented on how difficult the lake was to fish during the week, almost as if the fish knew when not to feed. My fishing partner, Muhamed Dzafo had reserved swim five, an area I hadn’t fished before. We had fished swims eight and 10 two weekends before and hadn’t managed to catch, so anticipation wasn’t high but we were hoping the stories of the venue fishing hard during the week would prove unfounded.
