Korda ace, Damian Clarke is said to have banked the same fish back in 2011, at a weight of 88llb – but it has since clapped on weight at the French super venue, taking it to its now epic proportions. Details are yet to emerge of the angler who caught it, but it is thought that Colin Smith tempted the beast from Peg 14 at the venue.
