Flouro Confusion

Question: I am confused about fluorocarbon. We’re told that it works because it is clear in water, but some companies make coloured versions? How does that work? Paul Leamy, via www.totalcarpmagazine.com



Marc Coulson says: Do you know what, Paul, that’s a complete mystery to me as well. I suspect (only my suspicion) that it is so that the line looks different on your reels, but I honestly do not know why you would add any colour pigment to a line that works on the merits of being clear.
