Carp Bait Army Needed

Firm looking for numbers of anglers to test its bait and reveal results.

Bait giant Berkley has announced it is looking to recruit an army of new volunteer bait testers for the Berkley Gulp! carp bait range.

The move follows ‘tremendous success’ with the company’s initial drive for field testers in the UK, with Berkley now looking to role the scheme out further across the country.

“We’ve had such a great response and results on our baits this year through our testers and users in general that we have now committed to tripling our recruitment numbers in the UK,” said Stewart Downing, Director of Berkley UK’s parent company, Pure Fishing UK. We’re building ‘The Army’ in all regions, and the recruits are enjoying some great results already”.

Each recruit to ‘The Army’ will receive a quantity of bait for testing, and in return they will be asked to supply regular blogs for the Berkley website about their fishing exploits, along with spreading the Berkley word through social media

“The bait has produced some remarkable catches, with loads of big UK fish,” added Stewart. “We also have new flavours in the development pipeline for Spring 2013 launch, so get signed up and join ’The Army’ now!”
