The popular retail store, Stapleley Angling Centre has moved from its previous home at Stapeley Water Gardens to a large, new premises. The new Stapeley centre at Lakemore has a huge shop, good access, family friendly facilities, nearby lakes and easy access from the motorway.

The owners explained: "We still stock the same huge variety of brands including Shimano, Nash, Fox, Preston, Pure Fishing, Garbolino, Maver, Sensas, MAP, Wychwood, Navitas, Trakker, Aqua, Pro Logic and many more. Our 12,000 sq ft superstore has a huge accessories and baitroom, coarse fishing floor and dedicated carpers’ showroom. The showroom is like a Bivvy Village and has has 24 bivvies and brollies on display, all set up with beds and many in a swim type set-up that allows you to find exactly the right shelter for you.

Having the bivvies set up with bedchairs allows you to accurately judge how much internal space there is available, and match it to your needs. We have a vast range of carp rods and a dedicated Shimano reel zone and also stock many other reels on rods on the dedicated freestanding reel area, which is filled with a vast selection of the best on the market.

In our bait area you’ll find everything from pop-ups and additives to fresh or shelf-life baits. We also offer local advice on where to fish – after all, we are staffed by anglers for anglers and can give spot-on help on what kit to buy."
