Brace Of 50s Banked

Amazing capture of huge specimens pulled off by 20-year-old.

A 20-year-old has put his name in the history books as one of the youngest carp anglers ever to have banked a brace of fifties.

Nash-backed Jack Brown completed the amazing angling feat during a recent 72hour session at Kevin Nash’s Church Lake in Essex, where he landed two fish for a total of over 103lb - a mirror of 51lb 2oz  and a scale-perfect common of 52lb 1oz.

Working hard for his incredible catch, Jack moved three times during his visit, catching the big common on the evening of the second day after casting to signs of feeding fish. The second specimen coming the following day, falling to the same hookbait which fooled the first – a 15mm white Monster Squid pop-up.

The bigger of the two broke Jack's personal best by a pound and is the third UK carp over the magic 50lb mark the rising carp star has landed in his fishing career.
