Julyan and Talyor take victory in the British Carp Angling Championship 2011.

The final of the British Carp Angling Championship has been won following a tense 48-hour battle that saw just 11lb separate first and second pace.

Held at Broadlands Lakes near Southampton, in the end the coveted title was awarded to Robert Julyan and Ashley Taylor after the pair banked a total of 12 fish for a weight of 166lb 14oz.

This year’s championship was the thirteenth BCAC competition.
