The Cabrio Compact is the most compact bivvy within the entire Rod Hutchinson Range, with the smallest footprint, yet it still offers one angler ample room to house everything needed for a longer session on the bank. Utilising three rigid aluminium frames the bivvy is easy to assemble while ensuring good strength and durability. The additional peak rib protects the doorway, minimises rain ingress and increase the overall size and feel of the shelter. On top of this the Cabrio Compact benefits from a rain gutter that channels the ran away from the porch area, and the shelter is constructed from a waterproof and breathable polyester with a 20,000 Hydrostatic Head Rating; you can rest assured you will remain completely and utterly dry and comfortable throughout your session.

There are handy rod retention straps on both the front and rear of the shelter, so it is easy to clip your rods up at the front while changing baits or adjusting rigs, and when needed you can keep your spod and/or marker rod at the back of the bivvy out of harm’s way but still close to hand.

The front panel can also be completely zipped out when needed, increasing your field of view and making one serious day shelter if required, but the front panel boasts mosquito sides and door panels, making it an essential inclusion throughout the muggy nights of summer and early autumn. As you would expect the door itself also comes complete with a zip-on/off winterised PVC clear door window and two-way crash zips allow ease of getting in and out of the shelter, while ensuring you can use the door system letter-box style when required.

At the rear of the shelter are ventilation panels with zip down blinds, ensuring privacy while helping to regulate air flow and keep your shelter at a comfortable temperature year round.

Supplied with a heavy duty 480g PVC groundsheet and wide, heavy duty PVC skirt, when fully assembled and set up this is a truly comfortable piece of kit, whether you’re staying just 24 hours or on a week-long session!
