Additional Info: Well when I arrived to seighford lakes, the sun was already out, unable to be there at first light was a real disadvantage,however child care comes first, so I'm finally here so i had a good look around the lake and was unable to see any clear indication of were the fish were, however I was standing at the deep side of the lake and I could see the rushes twitching backwards and forwards. This was a real tight cast under a hanging tree, after several under arm casts I hit the spot, I opted for helicopter with a spinner rig, fishing a diamond white pop up over the top of chopped 20mm banofee boilies, I new I was running out of time and I had to leave soon due to me being at work at night, so I was slowly starting to pack my stuff away, as I was putting my mat away, the alarm ripped off, honestly thought I was in for a blank, however I managed to grace my net with this scaley banger weighing 17.9lb, so contacted the bailiff jack to come take some photos, to find out this was an original stockie, just that little indication of the rushes twitching was all that was needed for such a beautifull carp, put it this way I was leaving there going to work a very happy man.
