Additional Info: After coming out 7th out of eight in the draw I had my eyes on swim 5, I had no idea about the lake or features in peg 5 I chose peg 5 because it’s my lucky number. After spending and hour with the marker rod I found a clean gravel bar that ran through the swim at 13 rod lengths out. Deciding to fish the rods at 12.75 / 13 / 13.25 rod lengths out to create almost a path for the fish to follow along the bar, I started with hemp/maize and half’s and chops in my mix, but also chose to wash out the cell baits with lake water and cell activator and multi stim to give the baits a washed out appearance but boost the overall attraction. I started with 10 spombs over each rod and then 5 more when I had a bite from the spot, topping up the area after a bite and having a rig ready to go was certainly a edge that helped to my successful catch. As rods where going minutes after being cast in, and three occurrences being triple takes along with numerous double takes. In all over the week I had 35 fish from 24lb to 45.2lb with a combined weight of over 1000lb! This certainly won’t be a session I forget any time soon!
