October issue on sale now!

The first signs of Autumn are finally here and after a long dry summer we’ve finally received some very welcome rain and crisp, foggy mornings. The change of seasons is such a big part of fishing and being outside in general, bringing a bounty of variation into our sport. It’s all part of the puzzle and each of the seasons brings with it new experiences.

While the classic Autumn feed ups may be few and far between these days, some classics still hold true and many still find that this is the best time of year to be boilie fishing. With this in mind, we have several features devoted to getting the best from these round balls of goodness!

Oz Holness looks deeply into the topic, Ian Chillcott reflects on his campaign at Manor Farm where he fished heavily with boilies and Nigel Sharp has a boilie revelation. Even Luke Vallory takes a boilie only approach as he makes his return to Junction 12, the venue where last year he came oh so close to catching his target 40 pounder. Keeping on the topic of bait and baiting strategies, Tom Forman goes back to basics on bait application and Mark Holmes reveals his thoughts on Old-School versus New-School tactics.

There’s all of this and so much more – whether it’s your favourite regulars, all the latest and greatest carp fishing gear or the Thinking Anglers Rig Guide which comes FREE with this issue – there’s certainly something for everyone in October’s Total Carp! EDITOR’S OCTOBER TOP PICKS
