Additional Info: Fished in silt at the edge of a gravel bar where I could see fish swimming between dying weed beds. Baited lightly with 5 spombs of particle and boilies. Wasn't expecting a bite until dark but at 17:15 I recieved a slow take from a new personal best. Had to do some phone self takes as no one was about but very pleased I was rewarded for my efforts in getting out with a storm forecast.
