Additional Info: Arriving at the venue Friday afternoon, we set out walking around the venue and straight away saw that the lake had large amounts of weed with only small patches of clear areas to find. With spending the first day with a marker rod I managed to find a clear spot big enough for 2 rods at 12 wraps out. I didn’t want to over bait so started off with 10 medium spombs of a mix of Carbon Baits Hemp & Maize with Krill Active Boilies and pellets. With setting my traps and the wind planned to push directly up to the top end of the lake where my rods where, the next morning I managed to land what turned out to be the only carp out of the lake over that weekend which was a right result. Well chuffed!!
