Additional Info: On March 1st-3rd Myself and Catherine Robertson, of Carp Team Scotland Ladies, competed in the Wyreside winter doubles match. Held across 4 lakes on the complex, with 66 people competing, of which we were the only 2 female anglers in the entire match. Even though the conditions were horrendous with torrential rain, we did not give up. Between us, we landed 6 carp to 22lb, for a total weight of Carp of 96lb 6oz. Which landed us the top spot winning first place in the entire match! Which, being the only girls up against 32 pairs of men, was just unreal! This is a picture of 2 mid-upper double Carp we each caught in very quick succession.
