Tactics: Small citruz pop up on a ronnie rig with a pva bag full of citruz stick mix. Tidy rig that always works for me and never fails.

Additional Info: First session back on the bank since lockdown, set out to my small local lake where i have had plenty of fish from in the past. Sticking with the same tactics I’ve caught from before; small white Nash citruz pop up on a ronnie rig and a pva bag. This allows the rig to settle neatly with matching bait surrounding to attract the carp. This presentation is what i prefer as i know the hook is presented properly on the lake bed, adding to my chances of catching a fish. The rod was in the water 20 minutes before the first bite, and it had never felt better feeling a bend in the rod. This session resulted in 12 fish for myself with this mirror being the biggest. Certainly a great result.
