The Fangs are razor sharp straight from the pack but, more importantly, they stay sharp too. The aforementioned swept shank coupled with its inturned eye, means that it turns quickly in the carp’s mouth. I have used the Fangs in sizes 8 and 10 and I have been extremely impressed with both. The only downside is that they are a little more expensive than some other companies’ hooks on the market, but they are worth every penny.
