Jon says: Snyde is a copolymer main line developed to be fast sinking. Providing you break the surface tension after casting, by submerging the rod tip and gently tightening your line, this stuff sinks like a brick. It has a light-green colour when bulked on a spool but is all but invisible once cast out and submerged. It casts smoothly, boasts a sensible breaking-strain-to-diameter ratio and is available in a range of breaking strains that will cover almost all carp fishing scenarios.

Verdict: A great sinking and durable main line; you can easily fill three reels from one spool.
