Carrying a full-blown bivvy certainly makes moving an arduous task. If you want to scale down and travel light then getting a brolly is a good start. The JRC 60in brolly is light and can be packed down and erected in minutes.

It’s also a great shelter for day sessions if the weather takes a turn for the worse. It’s supplied with two storm poles, heavy-duty pegs and a PVC groundsheet. If you want a no-thrills shelter that will keep you protected from the elements, but is easy to pack and and move swims with, then this is ideal.
