National Fishing Week 2008 - 04/02/2008

The dates for National Fishing Week (NFW) 2008 have been announced, with this year’s event taking place from July 19th to July 27th.

The Angling Trades Association (ATA) announced that this year ‘all encompassing’ will be the main theme, with a promise to include more game and sea fishing events.

ATA chairman Sean O’Driscoll stressed that this year NFW will seek to cover all angling disciplines and was pleased to announce that the Get Hooked On Fishing team will be helping to manage the event.

Over the past 15 years NFW has introduced thousands of anglers to our fantastic sport and is critical to the sport’s development and future.
