On the Right Trax
£1,380 NASH COMPETITION www.nashtackle.com
Bag yourself a brand-new Nash TRAX barrow of your choice.

It’s fair to say that the majority of carp anglers take a lot of gear with them, and even those that don’t would prefer not to have to carry the kit to their swim. The saving grace is a barrow, because no matter how much kit you have, using one of these to transport your gear is by far the easiest option. They have become such an integral part of carp anglers’ armoury that there are now entire luggage ranges dedicated for use on a barrow. Anglers that have used a barrow will know that the type and quality of the one you use makes a huge difference, and for those that don’t use a barrow, take our word for it that this is the case.
Nash’s all-new TRAX range comprises four meticulously designed barrows developed for performance and longevity. Whether you want a large barrow for carrying vast amounts of gear, or a compact one to fit neatly into the boot of your car, there’s a TRAX barrow for you. At the top of the range is the impressive TRAX All Terrain Evo, which is large enough to accommodate a mountain of kit. However, if you are in need of a little more space, or you want to adjust the barrow to fit your gear, then the side and front bars extend to suit the load. Even more storage space comes in the form of a storage bag, which hangs underneath the body between the legs and wheel. This is perfect for storing smaller items neatly, such as clothing, bait, water bottles and all those other necessary bits and bobs.
The most noticeable feature on this barrow, and two of the others in the range, is the sizeable chunky wheel. Not only does this offer supreme stability and grip, but the wider tyre is less prone to sinking into soft ground. On top of this, there are a host of other performance-enhancing features, all of which add up to give this barrow a retail price of £229.99. Despite its size, the TRAX All Terrain Evo folds flat and the wheel can be removed easily, allowing for easy transportation, and this is true of the TRAX range. So, even if you go fishing in the family saloon, these barrows will fit. Next up is the TRAX All Terrain, which is a little cheaper than the Evo with an RRP of £209.99. This is a smaller version of its more expensive brother, with a slightly smaller frame and not quite as many features, but it still boasts the same chunky wheel. Still, the performance is outstanding and it’s perfectly suited to those that don’t take everything with them on every session, but still need a fairly large transporter.
The third in the range is the TRAX Micro, which retails for £159.99. As the name suggests, this is the most compact barrow in the range, ideal for anglers with small cars, or those that travel to the lake with a mate. It breaks in to two sections for easy transportation and boasts an adjustable front bar, storage bag, chunky wheel and much more. Finally there is the Trax Terrain. This is a no-nonsense, no-frills barrow that simply works, and works well. The flatbed design will be favoured by many because of its lightweight nature and manoeuvrability. Unlike the others, it doesn’t feature sidebars, but does have an adjustable front bar that can be locked in position, and has a thinner wheel. That said, the wide wheel can be purchased as an optional extra. So, if you’re after a lightweight, compact barrow then the TRAX Terrain is for you, and with an RRP of £129.99 it’s also great value.
